One of the most scenic campgrounds I've ever stayed at ... and I've stayed at a lot. Great hiking, good fishing. The place was almost empty on a Tue/Wed stay in mid-July. Pay attention to the signs to avoid ending up at the horse area.
Scenery is beautiful, corrals are in great condition - there are four of them. Loved it, cannot wait to come back.
There's a funky general store on the road up, about 6 miles (25 minutes) from the campground.

Very scenic. A beautiful creek flows down the North side of it. with amazing mountain ridge just on the other side.
Absolutely LOVED it, however, if you are horse camping there, bring lots of jugs for water as the water is located in the campground next door, and hauling back and forth is tiring. My only wish is that I brought more large containers to fill.
The facilities are well maintained. the location is very secluded and quiet. At night the creek low is the only noise you can hear.
